STS Technical Services is hiring a Maintenance Technician in Ridgeland, South Carolina, to support facility operations with a wide range of advanced maintenance tasks, including carpentry, plumbing, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical work. This role is crucial for maintaining equipment and ensuring safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine and advanced maintenance tasks to ensure equipment and facility operations.
  
• Safely operate forklifts and other advanced tools.
  
• Apply advanced carpentry, plumbing, and mechanical skills in daily tasks.
  
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
  
• Conduct work at heights using lift platforms, and ensure compliance with safety standards.
  
• Mentor junior technicians and participate in continuous improvement.
  

Skills & Abilities:

• Proficiency in carpentry, plumbing, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic work.
  
• Basic knowledge of industrial electrical systems.
  
• Ability to operate advanced hand and power tools safely.
  
• Blueprint reading skills and attention to detail in measurements.
  
• Willingness to work in confined spaces and at elevated heights.
  

Education & Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
  
• Previous experience as a Maintenance Technician.
  
• Forklift certification or willingness to acquire it.
