Job summary

Rosie's Gaming Emporium - Richmond is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform preventive maintenance and repairs on the property and equipment. The role requires hands-on work across electrical, plumbing, painting, carpentry, and general repairs to ensure smooth operations at the Richmond location.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent, with vocational certifications preferred and at least two years of related experience.

Qualifications

• Validated knowledge in HVAC, electrical, plumbing and related facility systems.
• Experience with minor electrical and plumbing repairs preferred.
• Experience with painting and carpentry basics is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance inspections and repairs.
• Execute electrical repairs and modifications as needed.
• Perform plumbing repairs and modifications.
• Carry out general carpentry tasks.
• Paint and repair walls and drywall as required.
• Assist with trash removal and facility upkeep.
• Escalate complex issues to supervisor as needed.

Job Summary

Responsible for the proper maintenance and repair of all property and equipment.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Performs preventive maintenance inspections of all facility - troubleshooting related equipment and systems; make repairs and adjustments as necessary.
• Performs moderate to complex electrical repairs and modifications.
• Performs moderate to complex plumbing repairs and modifications.
• Performs moderate to complex general carpentry.
• Performs general painting including spackling, hole repair, and dry wall replacement.
• Assists with trash pickup and removal of the interior and exterior of the facility.
• Resolves problems that are within the position's scope of authority and recommends courses of action to resolve problems that are beyond the scope of authority to the position's supervisor.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

• Working knowledge in these areas - list not all inclusive: HVAC, electrical equipment, plumbing, commercial kitchen equipment, basic repairs, painting, and wallpaper.
• Excellent attention to detail and observational skills.
• Ability to multitask in a high-volume environment.

Education And Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Vocational or technical certifications in related fields preferred.
• Two (2) years' work experience in related field.
• Other combinations of education and experience may be considered.
• Must obtain and maintain a valid racing license.
• Must have a valid driver's license with minimum three (3) years of driving history.

Physical Requirements & Working Conditions

• The Team Member will be required to stand and walk for extended periods of time. While performing the duties of this job, the Team Member is frequently required to sit or stand; walk; use hands to finger reach, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear.
• The Team Member may be required to lift up to 50 pounds.
• The Team Member may be required to work long hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• The Team Member may be required to work in outside weather conditions and is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, fumes, or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, extreme cold, and vibration.
• The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud.
• The work environment may vary in levels of crowds, noise, flashing lights, and smoke, depending on the assigned station and guest volume.
