Job summary

Leumas Residential is seeking a skilled and dependable Maintenance Technician to join our on-site team at River School Lofts in Richmond, VA. You will perform HVAC maintenance and repairs, address plumbing and electrical issues, and complete unit turns to prepare apartments for new residents.

As a frontline representative of our property, you will coordinate with vendors, uphold safety and curb appeal standards, and deliver timely responses to resident maintenance requests.

Qualifications

• At least two years of residential maintenance experience.
• Strong understanding of HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems.
• Commitment to reliability and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Perform HVAC maintenance and repairs for the property.
• Address plumbing and electrical issues as they arise.

Location: River School Lofts – Richmond, VA

About the Property: River School Lofts is Leumas's first property acquisition in the Richmond submarket (of many more to come!), and sets the standard for our Richmond apartment portfolio. We take great pride in delivering exceptional living experiences and although River School Lofts only has 40 units, we are looking for someone who shares our dedication to excellence and is interested in growing into a larger role and implementing this standard at the future Richmond assets we acquire.

Position Overview

Leumas is looking for a skilled and dependable Maintenance Technician to join our on-site team. In this hands-on position, you will be responsible for ensuring that the property\'s buildings, systems, and equipment operate efficiently and reliably. Daily tasks will include performing HVAC maintenance and repairs, addressing plumbing and electrical issues, and completing unit turns to prepare apartments for new residents. You will also oversee preventative maintenance programs, uphold curb appeal standards, and coordinate with outside vendors when specialized work is needed.

This role is well-suited for someone who enjoys troubleshooting, takes pride in craftsmanship, and thrives in an environment where attention to detail truly matters. Beyond the technical aspects, the Maintenance Technician will also serve as a point of contact for residents, helping ensure timely responses to maintenance requests and creating a positive living experience.
