Job summary

Rose & Company, LLC is seeking a Maintenance Tech to perform skilled housing maintenance, identify and diagnose problems, and return units to 100% working order with a strong service mindset.

The role covers HVAC, plumbing, electrical and carpentry tasks, preventative maintenance, on-call responses, and coordination with the Community Manager to keep common areas and resident units in top condition.

Qualifications

  • HVAC/EPA Certification required.
  • Ability to diagnose and fix maintenance issues across multiple trades.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot, repair, or replace HVAC equipment.
  • Install, repair, and replace plumbing fixtures.
  • Install, repair, and replace electric switches, breakers, and receptacles.
  • Install, repair, and replace appliances, counters, and cabinetry.
  • Repair and replace drywall.
  • Operate and repair pool equipment.
  • Oversee landscaping contractor.
  • Perfrom preventative maintenance on equipment.
  • Coordinate with Community Manager to prioritize tasks.
  • Respond to emergencies when on duty or on-call.
  • Maintain grounds and curb appeal.
  • Coordinate with third party contractors for pricing and quality.

Job description

To perform theMaintenance Tech position we are looking for someone with awesome maintenance skills, great customer service, and wonderful communication skills, who can identify and diagnose problems quickly, perform the necessary steps to fix the items identified, and deliver the unit back to the resident in 100% working order.

  • HVAC and/or EPA Certified **Must be Certified**
  • You are comfortable working with painting, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry
  • You are multi-talented and can perform various housing trades

  • You can multi-task your workload and complete your work schedule on time
General Requirements

Respond to and complete service requests in a timely manner.

Coordinate with the Community Manager and team to prioritize tasks throughout the day.

Provide excellent customer service when interacting with residents, guests, and vendors.

Identify any issues regarding safety, hazardous conditions or maintenance needs in the community and correct them or report them to the Community Manager.

Perform preventative maintenance on equipment within the community.

Be capable of performing typical independent assignments consistent with code requirements and good working practices. Such assignments might include:

  • Troubleshoot, repair, or replace HVAC equipment.
  • Install, repair, and replace plumbing fixtures.
  • Install, repair, and replace electric switches, breakers, and receptacles.
  • install, repair, replace all appliances, counters, and cabinetry.
  • Repair and replace drywall,
  • Operate and repair all pool equipment.
  • Oversee landscaping contractor.

Ability to operate small engine machinery and hand power tools such as drills, saws, blowers, sewer machine, and any other necessary equipment.

Assist with upkeep of community grounds and curb appeal to maintain best-in-market position.

Effectively coordinate and communicate with third party contractors and vendors to ensure best pricing, quality of service, and customer satisfaction excellence.

Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, to residents, team members and service providers regarding planned and completed tasks.

Respond to emergency situations when on duty or when scheduled to be on-call.

Willingly take on additional projects and/or duties as assigned.
