Job summary

Responsibilities

• Performs general repairs and maintenance for electrical, mechanical, and structural aspects of buildings and grounds.
• Maintains cleanliness and appearance of exterior areas (trash, litter, outdoor furniture).
• Maintains interior cleanliness and appearance (trash, sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, furniture).
• Identifies when supplies are needed and reports to supervisor.
• Maintains regular attendance.
• Performs other duties as required.

Pay Rate:

$29.00 per hour

General Purpose:

Provides daily repair and maintenance services for all aspects of the operation, including offices, public spaces, restroom facilities, grounds, and other areas as required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Performs general repairs and maintenance for all areas within the operation, including, but not limited to: electrical, mechanical, and structural aspects of the buildings and grounds
• Maintains cleanliness and appearance of the exterior of the facility, including, but not limited to: emptying trash cans and ashtrays, sweeping walkways, picking up litter, and arranging outdoor furniture
• Maintains cleanliness and appearance of interior areas of the facility, including, but not limited to: emptying trash cans and ashtrays, sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, and arranging furniture
• Identifies when supplies are needed and reports to the supervisor
• Maintains regular and reliable attendance
• Performs other duties as required

Education/Experience:

Less than high school education; or up to one month of related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Physical Demands:

Frequently uses hands and reaches with hands and arms. Regularly climbs, balances, stoops, kneels, crouches, crawls, stands, walks, and sits. Frequently lifts or carries up to 50 pounds.

Environment/Noise:

Occasionally works in wet or humid conditions, near moving mechanical parts, and fumes or airborne particles. Frequently works in outdoor weather conditions. Noise level is moderate.

No certifications or licenses are required.
