Job summary

Torrey Holistics in Piedmont, SC seeks a Maintenance Technician to oversee repair and maintenance of machinery, equipment, and building systems in a high-volume industrial setting. The role requires reading mechanical/electrical drawings and strong troubleshooting in hydraulics, pneumatics, pumps, and motors.

The candidate will work on 2nd or 3rd shift, with pay up to $32.38/hour DOE plus a $2 shift differential for off shifts, plus full benefits after 30 days.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school preferred.
• Minimum 3–5 years of industrial maintenance experience.
• Advanced troubleshooting, mechanical, electrical and fabrication experience.
• Ability to train and assist others.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain machinery, equipment, structures, plumbing and electrical systems in an industrial setting.
• Read and understand mechanical and electrical drawings.
• Troubleshoot hydraulics, pneumatics, pumps, motors, and conveyors.
• Maintain and repair CNC turning centers, grinders, and servo motors.
• Troubleshoot and maintain air compressors, chillers and coolant systems.
• Repair or modify systems; replace bearings, bushings and machine components.
• Understand PLC ladder logic to identify production equipment trouble.
• Order parts, schedule work with minimal supervision, and maintain 5S in maintenance areas.
• Train and assist others; support project crews and facilities as needed.

HTI is seeking Maintenance Technicianfor a leading automotive manufacturer in Piedmont, SC. The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for overseeing repair and maintenance of machinery, equipment, building, physical structures, and plumbing and electrical systems in this high-volume industrial setting. The Maintenance Technicianposition is on 2nd shift or 3rd shift. Ability to train and assist others.What Your Role Will Look Like:The Maintenance Technician is responsible for repairing and maintaining machinery, equipment, physical structures, and plumbing and electrical systems of industrial establishment by performing the following duties.Read and understand mechanical and electrical drawings.Thorough knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics. Ability to repair replace or modify systems.Replace bearings, bushings, slides and any other machine components. Troubleshoot & replace pumps and motors.Troubleshoot and maintain air compressor, chiller, evaporator, and coolant systems.Troubleshoot & repair servo amplifiers and motors with minimal assistance.Welding skills including MIG, TIG and stick for machine repair and or improvements is a plus.Ability to use fabrication equipment including metal shear, metal brake, saws, drills and other common tools.Ability to understand PLC ladder logic to identify trouble on production equipment.Troubleshoot and maintain CNC turning centers and grinders. Able to make machine backups.Troubleshoot VFD’s and motors.Troubleshooting and analyzing machinery after rebuild or refurbish.Ordering parts, scheduling, etc. with little assistance from supervisor.Maintain 5s in all maintenance and facility areas. Organize spare parts with maintenance/rebuild shops.Ability to train and assist others with daily maintenance activities.
