Axia Residential is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician for The Blakely in Pendergrass, GA. You will perform resident service work, prepare apartments for new residents, and troubleshoot HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and other systems to maintain a safe, well-kept community.

Qualifications

• At least two years of apartment maintenance experience.
• EPA Type II or Universal Certification preferred.
• Proficient in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, drywall, painting and flooring.

Responsibilities

• Complete resident service requests promptly with a customer-first attitude.
• Prepare vacant homes by performing quality make-readies on schedule.
• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliances, drywall, painting, flooring and carpentry.
• Perform preventative maintenance throughout the community.
• Maintain common areas, amenities, and grounds.
• Assist with emergency maintenance and on-call rotation.
• Collaborate with Maintenance Supervisor and Community Manager to prioritize work.

What You'll Do

As a Maintenance Technician, you'll play a vital role in preserving the appearance, safety, and functionality of our apartment community. Responsibilities include:

• Complete resident service requests promptly, professionally, and with a customer-first attitude.
• Prepare vacant apartment homes by completing quality make-readies on schedule.
• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical, appliances, drywall, painting, flooring, and general carpentry issues.
• Perform preventative maintenance throughout the community.
• Maintain the appearance and functionality of common areas, amenities, and grounds.
• Assist with emergency maintenance and participate in an on-call rotation.
• Work closely with the Maintenance Supervisor and Community Manager to prioritize daily work and achieve team goals.
• Follow all company safety policies and OSHA guidelines.
• Deliver exceptional service while building positive relationships with residents and team members.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who has:

• At least two years of apartment maintenance experience preferred.
• EPA Type II or Universal Certification strongly preferred.
• Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, drywall, painting, flooring, and general maintenance.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds, climb ladders, and work both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
