Job summary

Techo-Bloc is seeking experienced Maintenance Technicians to join our Douglassville, PA plant. We offer a travel stipend for eligible commuters from the Pen Argyl area and a strong focus on safety, reliability, and teamwork.

The role requires strong mechanical repair and electrical troubleshooting skills, with opportunities for advanced training and career growth within our maintenance team. Weekly pay and comprehensive benefits are included.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years’ experience working in Electromechanics, Industrial Maintenance or relevant field.
  • Proficient with use of power tools, measuring devices, lathe and/or milling machinery.
  • Previous experience using bearing heaters, interference fits, and/or removing gear boxes or seized bearings/shafts.
  • Previous experience with stick and MIG welding.
  • Will need to fabricate projects as well as make welding repairs.
  • Proficient Electrical skills.
  • Proficient in troubleshooting electrical components; IOs, OLs, contactors, relays, breakers and various other electrical components.
  • Read and comprehend schematics and diagrams.
  • Experience with 480vAC, 120vAC, 24vDC, and 4-20mA systems.
  • Able to use multi-meter, megger, and other test equipment.
  • Maintain, install, troubleshoot VFDs, programmable sensors, SCADA, HMI, and PLCs.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot, repair, and replace mechanical components (motors, gearboxes, conveyors, bearings, chains, belts, pulleys, rollers, etc.).
  • Diagnose and repair hydraulic systems (cylinders, valves, solenoids, pumps) and build hydraulic hoses as needed
  • Perform welding and fabrication repairs (MIG & stick) in various positions
  • Troubleshoot electrical issues using schematics, wiring diagrams, multimeter, and megger
  • Install and align new equipment using hoists, jacks, and precision tools
  • Troubleshoot and support VFD drives (SEW, Siemens, Lenze, Allen Bradley)
  • Test equipment, identify needed parts, complete repairs, and document preventative maintenance
  • Maintain a clean, safe work area and follow all safety procedures
  • Work at heights and use equipment such as forklifts, cranes, and scissor lifts as needed

We want you in Douglassville!

We’re hiring experienced Maintenance Technicians for our Douglassville, PA plant and are offering a travel stipend to eligible employees who commute from the Pen Argyl area.

+$2/hr shift premium

Monday – Thursday 5:00 PM–5:00 AM (training schedule may differ)

The Role: Maintenance Technician

We’re looking for an experienced Maintenance Technician who’s strong in mechanical repair and electrical troubleshooting. You’ll keep production equipment running safely and efficiently while helping improve reliability across the plant.

This is a great role for someone who enjoys:

What You’ll Do (Day-to-Day Work)

  • Read and comprehend schematics and diagrams.

  • Maintain, install, troubleshoot VFDs, programmable sensors, SCADA, HMI, and PLCs.
  • Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures, using testing devices such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, and oscilloscopes
  • Collaborative; Works in the spirit of partnership.
Education and Experience:
  • Electrical certificates or equivalent experience (preferred)
