Job summary

Morada Senior Living is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our team. You will perform maintenance and housekeeping across the community, completing service requests for repairs and upkeep of living spaces, equipment, and vehicles. The role involves basic plumbing, electrical work, and making rooms ready for new residents.

The ideal candidate has at least one year of maintenance experience, is willing to be on call, and understands building systems, OSHA rules, and safety protocols. EOE D/V

Qualifications

• One year of maintenance experience.
• Ability to be on call if needed.
• General understanding of plumbing, electrical, mechanical systems and code compliance.
• Knowledge of OSHA, fire prevention, life and safety regulations.
• Ability to respond to emergency calls outside scheduled hours.
• Ability to multitask and handle multiple priorities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Good organizational and time-management skills.
• Demonstrates sound judgment and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and housekeeping duties around the community.

• Address tasks such as wall/floor repairs, furniture repairs, basic plumbing/electrical work, appliance repair, painting, and room readiness.

Our community is looking for aMaintenance Technicianto join our team.

Responsibilities:

• Performing maintenance and housekeeping duties in and around the community grounds as assigned.
• Performs routine maintenance duties to complete all service requests for repair and maintenance of all grounds, buildings, apartment homes, equipment and vehicles in a timely and cost-efficient manner.
• Routine maintenance duties may include: fixing wall and/or floor coverings; repairing furniture and fixtures; performing basic plumbing work; performing minor electrical repairs; repairing appliances; painting and refurbishing projects, working with heating and air systems, refrigeration systems, carpet and hard surface maintenance and “make ready” rooms as assigned.

Qualifications:
