Job summary

On-Demand-Technologies,-LL in Overland Park, KS is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to keep production equipment and facilities running smoothly through preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and timely repairs.

You will work with mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems, read schematics, assist in installing new machinery, follow OSHA safety rules, and contribute to continuous improvement while supporting a safe, productive workplace.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; technical certification or associate degree preferred.
• 3+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing/industrial environment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with motors, conveyors, pumps, and gearboxes.
• Basic welding, fabrication, and machining skills are a plus.
• Read and interpret technical documents and schematics.
• Familiarity with Lockout/Tagout and safety practices.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine, scheduled, and emergency maintenance on equipment and systems (mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic).
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and control system issues using diagnostic tools.
• Repair or replace defective parts, motors, control panels, wiring, or switches as needed.
• Maintain HVAC, plumbing, lighting, and general facility repairs.
• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities.
• Read and interpret manuals, schematics, blueprints, and diagrams.
• Assist in installation and commissioning of new machinery or production lines.
• Ensure compliance with safety policies and OSHA regulations.
• Collaborate with production and engineering to improve reliability and efficiency.
• Participate in continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives.
• Maintain inventory of tools, parts, and supplies.

Applicants must currently reside in Kansas or Missouri.
