St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church is seeking a part-time Maintenance Technician to preserve the parish campus, perform repairs, and develop preventative maintenance programs.
This role requires knowledge of HVAC, electrical and hydraulic systems, and the ability to handle routine maintenance tasks with strong problem-solving and communication skills. The ideal candidate will plan and schedule inspections, manage HVAC/plumbing systems, and contribute to budgeting and inventory control.

Our ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of maintenance procedures, electric, hydraulic systems, and basic tools and appliances, as well as outstanding problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills. Someone who will preserve the excellent condition and functionality of our Parish Campus. This role will involve conducting quality assessments, repairing when necessary or scheduling repairs, maintaining inventory, and developing preventative maintenance procedures.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of leadership, vendors, employees, and the general public. Must have average computer skills, including aptitude with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percentage.
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Physical stamina to handle a full shift of being active and working on the building.
