Maintenance Technician (Commercial HVAC / Electrical / Plumbing)

Creighton University is hiring an experienced Maintenance Technician to support our 24/7 campus facilities. This is a hands‑on commercial role - not apartment turns or repetitive factory work.

What You'll Do

• Troubleshoot HVAC systems (AHUs, fan coils, hydronic & chill water)
• Electrical repairs (lighting, ballasts, motors, controls)
• Maintain pumps, motors, exhaust fans, and generators
• Perform preventative maintenance campus‑wide
• Participate in ongoing technical, safety, and operational process training programs and implement strategies into daily work
• Participate in rotating on‑call schedule

What You Bring

• 3+ years commercial building maintenance experience
• Strong HVAC, electrical, and plumbing troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work independently
• Valid driver's license – must have a current and valid driver's license with a clean driving record for the last 3 years and no major violations within the last 5 years.

Trade school or formal training preferred but not required.
