Maintenance Technician – Omaha, NE

Are you a skilled maintenance professional looking for a dynamic role in a fast-paced production environment? We are seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our team in Omaha, NE. This position plays a vital role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of production line equipment, facility systems, and industrial machinery.

Position Details:

• Schedule: Monday – Friday, with flexibility for overtime and on-call duties as needed
• Location: Omaha, NE

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform preventive maintenance on production line equipment and material handling machinery.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Execute special maintenance projects, including welding, fabrication, and carpentry.
• Operate industrial equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and manlifts while adhering to safety regulations.
• Assist in training employees on maintenance procedures and equipment operation.
• Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance activities using management software.
• Participate in on-call rotations to respond to plant emergencies as required.
• Uphold safety and environmental procedures to ensure compliance with regulations.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: 2-5 years of hands-on experience in maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs in an industrial setting.
• Technical Expertise:
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, mechanical repairs, welding, and industrial equipment maintenance.
  • Understanding of pneumatics, hydraulics, and gas-operated burners.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and schematics.
  • Skilled in using hand tools, grinders, drill presses, and other related equipment safely.
