- Schedule: Mon- Fri 7-3:30pm
- On-Call responsibilities
The hourly range for this position is $30-$35. Please note that the hourly pay information is a general guideline only. Responsibilities include:
- Demonstrates identified skill sets in daily operational duties.
- Actively pursuing own growth/career development through self-initiative practices; working with resources made available as coordinated with the supervisor.
- Instills safety in others by being safety minded; models good safety practices.
- Participates in operational/routine maintenance tasks within the facility work group without interruption of customer product deliveries.
- Fosters open communication amongst all facility technicians in relation to best practices, operational/facility needs, safety issues/concerns, conflicts of interest between shifts/other departments, sharing operational knowledge/expertise.
- Assists/works closely with operations manager or plant manager with daily facility needs.
- Work order generation; ensures accurate/complete information in maintenance work orders.
- Conducts acceptance PSSR reviews with operations and maintenance.
- Identifies potential needs, enters them into CMMS.
- Keeps accurate records; diligent in documentation, record retention policies/procedures.
- Determines if immediate maintenance action is required; documents it; reports to appropriate personnel.
- Studying/maintaining site-specific standard operating procedures, P and IDs, PFDs, all other technical documentation as relates to operational/equipment processes.
- Innovations/improvement project involvement.
- Generating initial documentation for on-site contractor, vendor, guest, or visitor site-specific training needs.
- Escorting on-site contractors, vendors, guests, or visitors throughout the facility as needed; ensures their compliance with national safety policies/procedures.
- Calibrates all plant process analytical equipment.
- Participation in facility safety meetings, inspections.
- Unloading cryogenic transports as necessary.
- Follows policies/procedures on proper notification for vacation scheduling, floating holidays, personal days off.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- 2+ years of related industrial operations experience.
- Valid employment authorization in the U.S. and no visa sponsorship needed.
- Ability to work shifts with on-call rotation.
- Understanding of plant safety rules, regulations, and policies.
- Knowledge of plant operations, processes, and equipment.
- Understanding of governmental regulations including environmental compliance, loading/quality assurance, basic electricity, and maintenance management systems.
- Mechanical ability.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to wear required PPE including hardhat, safety glasses, safety shoes/boots, respirators.
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
