  • Collaborate effectively with production, engineering, and maintenance team members.
  • Identify equipment risks and elevate issues as needed.

Job description

Autoneum is the global market leader in acoustics and thermal management. The Company is a leading Swiss supplier in sustainable acoustic and thermal management solutions for vehicles. It develops and manufactures multifunctional, lightweight components for optimum noise and heat protection.

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electronics and manufacturing equipment, including PLC controllers, HVAC, conveyors, among others. The Maintenance Technician will also be responsible for installing, inspecting, and improving the efficiency of the equipment while adhering to safety, quality, and operational efficiency requirements.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain manufacturing equipment, electronics, conveyors, HVAC systems, and facility infrastructure.
  • Perform preventive and predictive maintenance activities.
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to increase equipment reliability and efficiency.
  • Utilize CMMS systems to document maintenance activities.
  • Follow all safety, quality, and operational procedures.

Required Qualifications

  • Ability to stand, walk, kneel, and work in a manufacturing environment for extended periods.
  • Ability to climb ladders and work at heights.
  • Ability to lift to 50 pounds occasionally and 35 pounds frequently.
  • Manual dexterity required for working with tools and small components.
  • Visual ability to inspect production processes, equipment, and workplace conditions.
  • Ability to respond to emergencies and production issues in a timely manner across the facility.
  • Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE), including safety glasses, hearing protection, steel-toed footwear, and other protective equipment as required.
