Job summary

Riser Harness Ford in Searcy, AR is seeking a Quick Lube Service Technician to perform oil changes, tire rotations, and basic maintenance. You will use diagnostic equipment and power tools, while keeping the workspace clean and safe.

Ford certification is a plus, and prior Ford dealership experience is beneficial. We value fairness and inclusion and offer benefits such as health insurance, PTO, and a 401(k).

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Provide your own basic tools.
• Ford Certification is a plus.
• Previous experience at a Ford dealership is a plus.
• Ability to identify problems quickly and read manuals.
• Comfortable operating electronic diagnostic equipment.
• Strong reading, math and computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic maintenance (oil change, tire rotation, replace wiper blades and filters).
• Repair or replace worn parts before breakdown or damage.
• Use power tools, machine tools, and common hand tools to perform tasks.
• Clean and maintain the work space.

Job description

This role will mainly be focused on fluid checks and basic maintenance. Typically, a Quick Lube Service Technician will change a vehicle's oil, check the transmission fluid and other fluid levels, inspect various belts and filters, and check air levels and gauges.

Quick Lube Service Technician Responsibilities:

• Perform basic maintenance (i.e oil change, tire rotation, replace wiper blades and filters)
• Repair or replace worn parts ahead of the vehicle's breakdown or damage
• Use power tools, machine tools, and common hand tools to perform various tasks
• Clean and maintain work space

Quick Lube Service Technician Requirements:

• Provide your own basic tools
• Ford Certification is a plus
• Previous experience at a Ford dealership is a plus
• Ability to identify the problem quickly
• Knowledge of automobiles
• Effective communication skills
• Strong reading, computer, and mathematics skills
• Ability to learn new technology and repair and service procedures and specifications
