Nolan Living is seeking a Maintenance Technician (HVAC Certified) to keep our communities running smoothly. You will perform preventive maintenance and repairs on HVAC systems, mechanical systems, and building structures, and respond to after-hours emergencies as needed.

The role requires HVAC certification (Type 2 or EPA Universal), at least 4 years of maintenance experience, and the ability to lift up to 70 lbs.

Qualifications

• HVAC certification required (Type 2 or EPA Universal).
• 4+ years of maintenance experience, with 3+ years in a trade role.
• Strong knowledge of building systems, tools, and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on HVAC systems, mechanical systems, and building structures.
• Participate in on-call for after-hours emergencies.
• Troubleshoot service requests efficiently and professionally.
• Inspect equipment and facilities to ensure safety and operational readiness.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and inventory of supplies.
• Prepare reports, logs, and service documentation.
• Assist with renovation and construction projects as needed.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies.

Requirements

What You’ll Bring:

• HVAC certification required- Type 2 or EPA Universal
• 4+ years of maintenance experience, with at least 3 years in a trade-specific role
• Strong knowledge of building systems, tools, and safety procedures
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs and work in physically demanding environments
• Comfortable working at heights, in confined spaces, and in varying weather conditions
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions
• A proactive, team-oriented mindset
