Brookside Properties, Inc. is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Icon Lakewood in North Little Rock, AR.

The role involves handling general maintenance throughout the property, addressing resident requests promptly, and ensuring safety and cleanliness across grounds and amenities. The ideal candidate has HVAC repair experience, a High School diploma or GED, and EPA certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• EPA Type II or Universal certification preferred.
• Experience in apartment maintenance or multifamily housing is a plus.
• HVAC repair and troubleshooting experience is desired.
• Reliable transportation and basic tools are required.
• Strong communication and customer service skills are essential.
• Ability to walk the property, climb stairs/ladders, and lift up to 25 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance tasks (electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, appliance repairs).
• Respond to resident service requests promptly and professionally.
• Maintain property grounds and amenities for cleanliness and safety.
• Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours emergencies.
• Keep tools, equipment, and inventory organized and safe.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and Fair Housing standards.
