Job summary

Sun Realty of Nags Head Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician for full-time, year-round work in the Nags Head area. You will be responsible for maintaining vacation rental properties, performing repairs, and ensuring homes remain in top condition.

The role requires strong maintenance skills and reliable transportation. The position offers competitive pay and benefits. Weekend and holiday shifts may be required, with overtime possible.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of valuable experience in general maintenance.
• Basic carpentry skills that showcase craftsmanship.
• A valid driver's license for at least 3 years with a clean MVR.
• Basic knowledge of residential plumbing.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repair tasks to keep vacation rental properties in top condition.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues across electrical, plumbing, and structural systems.
• Use basic tools and company smartphone to document work and communicate with the team.

As a Maintenance Technician, you'll be at the heart of ensuring the properties we represent remain in top-notch condition. Requirements for Success:

Requirements

Physical/Mental Demands:

Hearing, speaking, seeing, walking, standing, sitting, driving, reaching bending climbing steps/ladders, and lifting 50-85+ pounds; reading, comprehension, legible writing skills and effective written and verbal communication in the English language.

Machines/Equipment:

A valid, active NC driver license for a minimum of 3 years (clean MVR); the operation of basic tools and equipment; smart phone or similar electronic device.

Work Environment:

Exposed to outside weather conditions, fast paced, physically strenuous; working in attics or crawl spaces; climbing flights of steps inside and out; maneuvering a vehicle in congested traffic.

Hours:

Salary Range:
