LBA Hospitality is opening Homewood Suites Winston Salem and is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support pre-opening and ongoing hotel operations. The role focuses on preventative maintenance, repairs, and ensuring guest safety and satisfaction.

Key duties include HVAC, electrical, plumbing troubleshooting, grounds upkeep, documentation, and assisting with houseman tasks. A collaborative team member with scheduling flexibility will thrive in this on-site position.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Working knowledge of electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and preventative maintenance.
• Knowledge of hand and power tools and safe operating practices.
• Dependable, service-focused, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
• Must meet company security clearance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and general repairs throughout the hotel.
• Troubleshoot and assist with electrical, HVAC, plumbing, furniture, fixtures, and equipment.
• Maintain hotel grounds and ensure maintenance equipment is in proper working condition.
• Complete assigned maintenance documentation.
• Identify and immediately report or correct hazardous conditions.
• Follow all safety, security, and brand standards.
• Assist guests professionally and protect guest privacy.
• Assist with houseman duties when assigned.
• Perform other duties as needed.

LBA Hospitality is hiring for the upcoming Homewood Suites Winston Salem! The hotel is set to open in December with work starting in mid-November as we prepare the hotel to open. The Maintenance Technician assists with repairs, preventative maintenance, and general upkeep to ensure the hotel remains safe, functional, and well maintained while providing friendly, professional guest service.

• Must have scheduling flexibility, including nights and weekends.
• This is an on-site hotel position.
