Job summary

Zinpro is seeking a Maintenance Technician at our North Branch, MN manufacturing plant. The role involves maintaining and repairing automated plant production systems, building and ventilation equipment, and related facilities to ensure safe, efficient operations.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in plant operations or maintenance, a high school diploma or equivalent, and basic computer skills including CMMS. A post-secondary certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Post-secondary education or certification(s) are preferred.
• 2 years’ experience in plant operations and/or maintenance.
• Basic computer skills, including CMMS usage.

Responsibilities

• Performs maintenance, repair, and installation of automated plant production systems and building equipment.
• Performs routine tasks including painting, plumbing, electrical/electronics within NEC rules.
• Documents preventive maintenance and uses CMMS to log work requests and completion.
• Assists Maintenance Supervisor with project planning and equipment installations.
• Maintains a clean, safe workstation and notifies supervisor of repairs needed.

Compensation: $29 - $44 per hour

The base salary listed is a range. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location. In addition to the base salary, this position is eligible for a bonus, providing the opportunity to earn additional compensation.

The Maintenance Technician will be expected to perform all work duties and responsibilities to maintain the operations of the facilities in compliance with all mandated State and Federal EHS and FDA requirements and Zinpro company policy. Success in this position requires the ability to work with complex machinery and perform physically demanding work while ensuring the safety of self and others. This role is based in a Zinpro manufacturing plant.

• Performs maintenance, repair, and installation of automated plant production systems, physical plant systems and structures, and building and ventilation equipment.
• Performs minor and routine tasks including painting, plumbing, electrical/electronics (within NEC rules), and frequently works with electrical systems, pump systems, dry solid handling equipment, and basic facility operating systems (compressors, hot water heaters, HVAC, etc )
• Performs and documents preventive maintenance on all plant systems and uses the plant Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to contribute to the plant quality systems and document all work requests and work completed
• Assists Maintenance Supervisor in the project planning and installation of equipment/systems using the plant CMMS and communicates with production employees and management regarding maintenance issues
• Requests tools, equipment, and supplies required for maintenance and notifies the Maintenance Supervisor concerning need for repairs toplant equipment and facilities
• Performs maintenance activities in accordance with product safety, personal safety, and housekeeping requirements while maintaining a clean and organized workstation
• Performs other duties as assigned
