Job summary

Responsibilities

• Maintain lawns and landscaping, including grass cutting and snow removal when assigned.
• Assist with preventative maintenance on a scheduled basis following written procedures and manufacturer recommendations.
• Maintain work order records, material costs, and materials on hand.
• Mechanically repair, release, and install minor equipment, hardware, and controls.
• Assist in promoting facility safety and a safe working environment.
• Oversee housekeeping/EVS department and related duties.
• Order EVS materials and manage schedules for EVS staff.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Maintenance Director and/or Administrator.

Summary Description:

The maintenance technician is responsible for maintenance and housekeeping of the facility. This individual will assist with all matters related to fire prevention, safety and up keeping of the facility.

Essential Position Functions:

• Ensure the maintenance of lawns, landscaping including grass and snow as assigned

• Assist with preventative maintenance on a scheduled basis in accordance with written procedures and/or manufacturers' recommendations

• Maintain work order records, material cost and materials

• Mechanically repair, release, and or install minor equipment, hardware, and controls

• Assists in promoting facility safety and a safe working environment

• Oversea housekeeping/EVS department

• Ordering of all necessary EVS material

• Creating and managing schedules for EVS employees

• Performs other duties assigned by Maintenance Director and or Administrator
