Job summary

Split Rock Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team. The role reports to the Maintenance Director and Assistant Maintenance Director and covers carpentry, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and HVAC maintenance.

You will complete work orders, document outcomes, and ensure the facility operates smoothly, with on-call duties 24/7 and a valid USA driver's license.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in building maintenance and repairs.
• Proficiency in carpentry, electrical work, plumbing, mechanical repairs, and HVAC maintenance.
• Valid driver's license and authorized to work in the USA.

Responsibilities

• Perform tasks as directed by the Maintenance Director and Assistant Maintenance Director.
• Conduct minor building repairs, including carpentry, drywall patching, and painting.
• Execute minor electrical work.
• Handle minor plumbing repairs, such as faucet and drain repairs.
• Undertake minor mechanical repairs, including wheelchair and wheel-castered item maintenance, fan belt changes, and motor repairs.
• Perform minor HVAC repairs and preventive maintenance, including filter changes.
• Complete work orders promptly and accurately, documenting completion, time utilized, and materials used.
• Maintain and update required F.D.N.Y. certificates as assigned by the Director of Maintenance.
• Be available for on-call duty 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Starting Pay:

$18 per hour (negotiable based on experience)
