Job description

Express Employment Professionals is partnering with a manufacturing company that is hiring a Maintenance Technician. This position requires someone with great work history in manufacturing. The candidate must have a sense of urgency to keep production running smoothly.

Responsibilities : The duties for this position include :

• maintain and repair propane forklifts
• maintain and repair propane sideloaders
• maintain and repair horizontal steel-cutting bandsaws
• perform building maintenance

Qualifications : The ideal candidate will possess the following skills :

• electrical troubleshooting / repair of AC and DC systems;
• mechanical troubleshooting / repair of hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical systems;
• ability to perform minor plumbing, carpentry and welding repairs;
• ability to organize paperwork and perform record keeping functions through databases;
• ability to work independently with minimal supervision;
• ability to inventory and order consumables and repair parts.

Shift : Monday- Friday, 8 : 30am-5pm
