Job summary

The Allure Group in Brooklyn, NY is seeking a Maintenance Technician for our skilled nursing facility. You will perform routine inspections, repairs, and upkeep to ensure resident comfort and uninterrupted operations.

You will repair furniture and medical equipment, handle basic HVAC and electrical tasks, and follow safety and infection control policies while supporting residents and staff in a caring environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• COVID-19 vaccination required.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily inspections of machines and investigate, fix, and report issues.
• Assemble and repair furniture, beds, wheelchairs, and biomedical equipment as needed.
• Perform basic HVAC maintenance and electrical repairs.
• Ensure daily facility activities proceed without interruption.
• Perform painting and plastering repairs.
• Assist in removing snow, ice, debris, etc.
• Adhere to facility safety and infection control policies.

Maintenance Technician Responsibilities

• Perform daily inspections of machines and investigate, fix, and report any issues found
• Assemble and repair furniture, beds, wheelchairs, and bio-med equipment as necessary
• Perform basic HVAC maintenance and electrical repairs
• Ensure that daily activities in the facility can be performed without interruption
• Perform painting and related plastering repairs
• Assist in the removal of snow, ice, debris, etc.
• Adhere to and implement all facility safety and infection control policies

Maintenance Technician Requirements

• High school diploma or its equivalent
• COVID-19 Vaccination

Preferred

• Prior experience in maintenance
