Job summary

Westfields Hospital & Clinic is seeking a Maintenance Technician to operate, repair and maintain hospital facilities and equipment, ensuring a safe, reliable environment for patient care. You will work a 1.0 FTE schedule with rotating shifts and on-call duties, primarily at the Westfields site and as needed at HealthPartners locations.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, a valid driver’s license, and preferred two-year technical training in building maintenance plus healthcare

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Preferred: two-year technical training in building maintenance.
• Preferred: one year experience operating HVAC, electrical and plumbing systems in a healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

• Maintain hospital facilities and equipment in a safe, cost-effective manner.
• Provide on-call coverage as part of rotating shifts (1.0 FTE - 40 hours).
• Support Westfields Hospital site and other HealthPartners locations as needed.
• Operate HVAC, electrical and plumbing systems in a healthcare setting.

Job description

The Maintenance Technician operates, repairs and maintains hospital and associated buildings’ physical plants and equipment in a safe, cost effective and industry accepted manner, assures a safe and reliable facility to provide services.

Work Schedule

1. 1.0 FTE - 40 hours
2. Hours are:
3. Rotating: M-F 6:00am - 2:30pm, 9am - 5:30pm
   Call rotation every 4th week.
4. Every 4th week Saturday and Sunday

The primary responsibility for this position is supporting the Westfields Hospital site, including on-call coverage. Additionally, this role will provide support at other HealthPartners St. Croix Valley locations as operational needs arise.

Required Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license

Preferred Qualifications

• Two-year technical training in building maintenance.
• One year experience in the operation of HVAC, electrical and plumbing systems in a healthcare setting.
