Job summary

Kelly Services is seeking a Maintenance Technician to work at Intel in Rio Rancho, NM. You will maintain, operate, and perform light repairs on machinery and production lines processing state‑of‑the‑art wafers in a cleanroom environment.

This role offers multiple shifts (roughly from $18–$19/hour) with overtime eligibility, top benefits (Medical/Dental/Vision & 401K), holiday pay, PTO, and clear advancement opportunities through Kelly.

Qualifications

• Highschool Diploma or GED (we verify).
• Mechanical background with basic maintenance tools and measurement devices.
• Strong math, computer and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in general maintenance and/or construction.
• Military, automotive repair/mechanic, or electrician background is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining, operating, and performing light repairs on machinery and/or product lines that process state-of-the-art 12” silicon wafers.
• Utilizing computers frequently to perform preventative maintenance.
• Proactively identifying defects in the manufacturing line and/or product.
• Operating in a cleanroom environment; moving and standing for long periods.
• Performing filter and chemical changes and inventory tracking.

Maintenance Technician

Pay Rate & Shifts:

• Shift 1 – 8AM to 5:15 PM (Mon-Fri)
• Shift 4 - 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM (SUN-TUE + every other SAT) at $19/hr
• Shift 5 - 6:45 AM - 7.15 PM (SUN-TUE + every other WED) at $18/hr
• Shift 6 - 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM (WED-FRI + every other SAT) at $19/hr
• Shift 7 - 6:45 AM - 7.15 PM (THU-SAT + every other WED) at $18/hr

Please note that not all shifts may be available.

What’s a typical day as a Maintenance Technician? You’ll be:

• Maintaining, operating, and performing light repairs on machinery and/or product lines that process state-of-the-art 12” silicon wafers
• Utilizing computers frequently to perform preventative maintenance
• Proactively identifying defects in the manufacturing line and/or product
• Operating in a cleanroom environment; moving and standing for long periods
• Performing filter and chemical changes and inventory tracking

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:

• Have a mechanical background and understand the uses for torque-wrenches, volt meters, ball valves, and capacitors
• Have excellent math, computer, and problem-solving skills
• Are experienced in general maintenance and/or construction
• Fall into any of the categories: military, automotive repair/mechanic, or electrician
• Are experienced as a machinist or fabricator
• Possess a Highschool Diploma or GED (we verify)
