Job summary

Rosewood Park Apartments is seeking a qualified full-time Maintenance Technician to handle day-to-day operations and maintain the property. The role includes refurbishing apartments prior to occupancy and performing basic electrical, plumbing, and appliance repairs.

You will also handle grounds maintenance and keep records for preventive maintenance, work orders, inspections, and inventories. Must be able to work on-call, have your own tools, reliable transportation, and have at least two years

Qualifications

• Two years of related maintenance experience
• Able to work on-call duties
• Own tools and reliable transportation
• High School education or equivalent
• HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and appliances experience a plus
• Excellent problem solving and customer service skills
• Self-motivated and takes initiative
• Ability to lift 50 pounds
• Criminal history background check and drug screen required

Responsibilities and Duties

• Refurbishing of apartments prior to resident occupancy
• Performing basic electrical, plumping, appliance repairs, and general handyman skills.
• Grounds maintenance
• Keeping accurate records regarding preventative maintenance, work orders, inspections and inventories
• Positive interaction with coworkers, residents and vendors

Required Skills

• Must be able to take on-call duty’s
• Have own tools
• Reliable transportation
• High School Education or equivalent
• Training in some or all of these areas a plus: HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and appliances.
• Excellent problem solving and customer service skills
• Must be self-motivated and willing to take initiative.
• Minimum two years related experience
• Ability to lift 50 poundsBasic knowledge of A/C Heating
• Plumbing, Installation of plumbing fixtures
