Job summary

Multi-Color Corporation MCC is hiring a Maintenance Procurement Coordinator to organize parts inventory, track orders, and manage vendor relations. The role supports the Maintenance Manager and requires data entry, MS Office use, and at least 2 years purchasing experience.

The MPC will process invoices, maintain KPI data, and coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely parts availability. A forklift preference is noted and a solid knowledge of production systems is expected.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience with data entry and record-keeping.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite required.
• Minimum 2 years of purchasing-related experience.
• Knowledge of electrical, mechanical and pneumatics.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Experience with Radius, SAP, or similar systems.
• Forklift experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Organize and maintain parts inventory and stock levels.

• Process returns and arrange replacements and credits.
• Source parts across multiple vendors for best price and availability.
• Maintain daily PO spreadsheet and issue PO numbers.
• Process invoices and collaborate with accounts payable.
• Update management on lead times and supply issues.
• Keep maintenance storage area organized and re-order as needed.
• Maintain the maintenance KPI boards and department filing.

The Maintenance Procurement Coordinator (MPC) is responsible for ordering, receiving, tracking, and storing parts. They will report directly to the Maintenance Manager and will assist in completing a wide variety of tasks from purchasing parts to collecting cost data to maintaining KPI information. This position requires flexibility and willingness to do a wide range of tasks that may be outside the scope of the position but still within the responsibilities of the maintenance department.

Responsibilities:

• Organize and maintain parts inventory for all parts in stock, ensuring that stock levels do not fall below required levels
• Communicate with vendors and contractors regarding order status, delivery times and availability
• Process returns of defective parts, arranging replacements and ensuring company receives a credit for all returned parts
• Shop best price and availability of parts from a variety of vendors
• Find ways to source parts that may be proprietary to certain manufactures
• Maintain daily PO spreadsheet
• Process invoices for payment, issue PO numbers through Radius Program and work with accounts payable to resolve any vendor issues
• Keep management updated on lead times and any supply chain issues
• Maintain the parts storage area to insure it is well organized and parts removed from inventory are re-ordered
• Maintain maintenance daily MDI board by updating KPI's
• Maintain filing in the maintenance department
• Schedule Preventive Maintenance Contractors for Chiller, HVAC, Air Compressor, Fire System, etc.
• Other duties as needed

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma/GED required
• Experience using computers for data entry, record keeping, etc. required
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite required
• Minimum of 2 years of purchasing-related experience required
• Knowledge of electrical, mechanical and pneumatics
• Excellent verbal and written communication, including the ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers.
• Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service.
• Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices.
• Experience with Radius, SAP, or other Production and Customer Management System required
• Experience operating a forklift is preferred

Physical Demands & Working Conditions:

The physical demands require standing, using hands to finger, feel and touch; reach with arms and hands; talk and hear. This position requires frequent walking. Occasionally employee is required to climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. Must be able to regularly lift or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision requirements are close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
