Multi-Color Corporation MCC is seeking a Maintenance Technician/Electrician in Fullerton, California. This role involves ensuring that all electrical schematics and instrumentation are calibrated, troubleshooting equipment downtime, performing repairs, and completing preventive maintenance services. Ideal candidates will have a strong background in electrical and mechanical applications and will be able to read schematics.

Job description

MCC, a global leader in premium labels with over a century of printing experience, is seeking a Maintenance Technician/Electrician to ensure all electrical schematics and instrumentation are calibrated and current, troubleshoot unscheduled equipment downtime, perform repairs, and complete preventive maintenance service.

Benefits

• Compensation: $28 - $35 per hour (dependent on experience) + $1.50 shift differential
• Nights: Sunday – Thursday, 9 PM – 5:30 AM

• Paid holidays: New Year’s, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, the day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, plus two floating holidays

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production runs.
• Perform scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service in a multi‑shift environment.
• Carry out mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair of machines.
• Support an optimized production environment by applying the principles of Lean Manufacturing and 5S.
• Maintain and repair facility equipment.
• Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• One or more years of demonstrated experience in electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic applications.
• Ability to read electrical schematics; vocational maintenance training certificate preferred.
• Basic knowledge of computers and operating systems.
• Strong multitasking ability and capacity to identify and execute process improvements.
• Strong problem‑solving skills to assess product output relative to specifications.
• Physical ability to climb stairs, bend, sit, stand, walk, reach with arms, push, pull and use hands and fingers to feel and handle material for extended periods.
• Capacity to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds repeatedly and regularly.
• Ability to stoop, squat, crawl and kneel as needed; frequent walking required.
