LeoForce is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician II in Napton, MO to troubleshoot and repair complex plant equipment in a high‑volume manufacturing setting. The role requires hands‑on mechanical and electrical skills, preventive maintenance, and the ability to read schematics and diagrams.

You will work with a team of maintenance professionals, provide root cause analysis, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives while maintaining safety and efficiency in daily operations.

Job Details
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, rebuild, install, replace, and test components on plant and production equipment.
  • Independently diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and controls-related equipment issues.
  • Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on production equipment and facility systems.
  • Troubleshoot electrical systems, motors, sensors, switches, relays, VFDs, and other electrical components.
  • Troubleshoot PLC-controlled equipment and assist in identifying controls-related faults.
  • Read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, equipment manuals, parts manuals, and diagrams.
  • Use diagnostic tools, meters, hand tools, and power tools to identify and correct equipment problems.
  • Perform mechanical repairs including bearings, chains, belts, gearboxes, pumps, conveyors, and other production equipment components.
  • Perform electrical and pneumatic repairs and adjustments on production machinery.
  • Weld, fabricate, modify, and repair equipment and components as needed.
  • Inspect machinery and equipment to identify potential problems before they result in production downtime.
  • Complete preventative maintenance activities and accurately document work performed.
  • Assist with equipment installations, modifications, and improvements.
  • Work closely with production personnel to identify recurring equipment issues and minimize downtime.
  • Help identify root causes of equipment failures and recommend corrective actions.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized maintenance work area.
  • Follow all safety, quality, food safety, and company procedures.
  • Serve as a technical resource to less-experienced maintenance technicians when needed.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives designed to improve equipment reliability, safety, and production efficiency.
  • Respond to equipment breakdowns in a timely manner and prioritize repairs based on production and safety needs.
  • Work extended shifts, weekends, and varying schedules as required by production needs.
A bit about us

Our client is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician II to join the maintenance team at their Marshall, Missouri manufacturing facility. This is a hands‑on position for an industrial maintenance professional who can independently troubleshoot and repair complex mechanical and electrical equipment in a high-volume production environment.

The Maintenance Technician II will report to the Maintenance Supervisor and will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, rebuilding, and improving plant and production equipment. The ideal candidate will bring strong mechanical fundamentals along with electrical, pneumatic, welding, fabrication, and controls experience.
