Job summary

BrightPath Kids is seeking a facilities technician to maintain multiple sites and manage routine repairs. You’ll perform light construction, plumbing, electrical, painting, and flooring tasks while coordinating with external vendors and monitoring their performance.

You will also handle work orders, ensure compliance, and support centers during audits and regulatory visits. A high school diploma and 2+ years of experience are expected, with strong communication and customer-service focus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Proficient in facilities disciplines and total site responsibilities.
• Budget-minded and customer service oriented.
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
• Willingness to increase knowledge in the field and stay updated.
• Flexibility to work outside normal hours when needed.

Responsibilities

• Total site maintenance and management.
• Light construction and repairs including carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting, and flooring.
• Small appliance troubleshooting and repair.
• Exterior space maintenance and vendor management including playgrounds.
• Work order management and vendor performance monitoring.
• Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and audits.

What will you be doing?

• Total site(s) maintenance and management
• Light construction and/or maintenance to include, but not limited to: construction, carpentry, plumbing (most common), electrical, painting, flooring, pest treatment, and other general repairs
• Small appliance troubleshooting and repair (refrigerators, dishwashers, etc.)
• Exterior space maintenance and vendor management, including playgrounds
• Work order management system for internal requests
• Maintain relationships with 3rd party vendors and manage their performance
• Monitor contractual obligations
• Support the centers through Audits, Regulatory Visits, Initiatives, Compliance violations, Fleet Compliance, etc.
