Job summary

Riverstone Communities seeks a Level 2 Maintenance Technician at the Mounds View, MN property to perform plumbing, electrical, and groundskeeping tasks. You will diagnose simple leaks, repair fixtures, read water meters, and complete work orders with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of experience in general labor including groundskeeping, landscaping, property management maintenance.
• 1-2 years of experience in basic residential plumbing.
• Ability to be very active - walking, bending, standing, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Comfortable working outside in all weather conditions.
• Willingness to use and learn technology at a basic level.
• Must have a valid driver's license to operate a vehicle on property.

Responsibilities

• Plumbing work such as repairing or replacing faucets and toilets and diagnosing leaks.
• Electrical work including light fixtures, GFCIs, outlets.
• Oversee curb appeal: groundskeeping and trash pickup.
• Complete clean outs of homes and finish work orders efficiently.
• Read water meters for each home and perform day-to-day duties with minimal supervision.
• Adhere to safety laws, check inventory, and participate in training.

We are currently seeking a qualified Level 2 Maintenance Technician for our Moundsview Mobile Home Park located at 1046 Montclair Ave Mounds View, MN 55112.

Level 2 Maintenance Technician Job Duties:

• Plumbing work such as repairing or replacing faucets and toilets, operating a sewer cleanout auger, diagnosing and repairing a simple water leak
• Electrical work such as light fixtures, GFCI's, understanding lightbulb wattage, breakers and fuses, replacing outlets
• Oversee the curb appeal of the community and make sure it is up to Riverstone Communities' standards which includes:
  • Picking up trash around the community
  • Groundskeeping including lawn mowing, planting flowers, weeding/weed eating, etc
• Complete clean outs of homes
• Finish work orders in an efficient and timely manner
• Read water meters for each home
• Complete day to day duties with minimal supervision
• Adhere to all safety laws and regulations
• Conduct regular inventory checks on equipment and supplies
• Take training classes online/virtually via a computer or tablet
• Other duties as qualified and trained to do so

Level 2 Maintenance Technician Requirements:

• 2-3 years of experience in general labor including groundskeeping, landscaping, property management maintenance
• 1-2 years of experience in basic residential plumbing
• Ability to be very active - walking, bending, standing, and lifting up to 50 pounds
• Need to be comfortable with working outside in all weather conditions
• Willingness to use technology/learn technology in a basic capacity
• Ability to legally operate a motor vehicle (drive to different locations on the property) with a valid driver’s license

**Specific maintenance knowledge/skills will be tested for accuracy.
