Job summary

Cambridge Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center in Moorestown, NJ is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our full-time day shift. You will maintain building systems, perform repairs, and support a safe, welcoming environment for residents and staff.

Three years of general maintenance experience are required, with preferred HVAC, plumbing, and electrical work. Proficiency with Word and Excel helps document work orders and updates.

Pay Range: $16.00/hr.-$20.00/hr. (All Inclusive)

Responsibilities for Maintenance Technician:

• Perform general maintenance and repair work, including painting, plumbing, carpentry, electrical, HVAC, and other facility systems.
• Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair building equipment and systems to ensure safe and efficient operation.
• Support preventative maintenance programs to reduce equipment downtime and extend system longevity.
• Maintain knowledge of building systems, equipment, and applicable building codes and regulations.
• Utilize basic computer systems (Word, Excel, Internet Explorer, or similar platforms) to document work orders, track maintenance activities, and communicate updates.
• Respond to maintenance requests promptly while prioritizing resident safety and comfort.
• Ensure all work is completed in accordance with safety procedures, facility policies, and regulatory standards.

Qualifications for Maintenance Technician:

• Three (3) years of general maintenance experience required, including painting, plumbing, carpentry, electrical, HVAC, or related trades.
• HVAC, plumbing, and electrical experience strongly preferred.
• Basic computer proficiency required, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and internet-based systems.
• Strong knowledge of building equipment, building systems, and applicable building codes.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including day, evening, weekend, and holiday shifts as needed.
