Job summary

Compunetics, Inc., a local manufacturer of state-of-the-art circuit boards, is seeking a building maintenance technician to join a dedicated team that keeps critical systems running. You will work on electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic equipment, and participate in preventive maintenance to support production.

Key requirements include a high school diploma, at least two years in maintenance, and ability to read schematics. PLC experience and HVAC know-how are a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• VoTech, trade school, maintenance apprenticeship preferred
• Minimum 2 years' experience in manufacturing or building maintenance
• Experience with PLC systems
• HVAC experience a bonus
• Ability to read schematic/wiring diagrams
• Familiar with mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems

Responsibilities

• Maintain and install building systems (electrical/mechanical equipment, pumps, motors, and pneumatic systems)
• Maintain inventory of spare parts
• Interface with suppliers and OEM maintenance technician
• Evaluation of quality of own work
• Complete documentation
