Job description

Maintenance Technician - 1st Shift

Gpac is working with a client company seeking a Maintenance Technician for a food manufacturing facility in western Wisconsin near Eau Claire. This role focuses on maintaining and repairing equipment to ensure optimal efficiency, supporting the company's growth and production goals. The technician will work on ovens, presses, pneumatic and hydraulic systems, and electrical systems, including PLCs, with responsibilities such as tearing down and setting up equipment, cleaning and maintaining dies, and troubleshooting electrical issues.

Ideal Candidate Qualifications:

1. At least 2+ years of experience in equipment and PLC maintenance
2. Ability to troubleshoot manufacturing equipment
3. General welding experience, with TIG preferred
4. Experience using multimeters and hand/power tools for electrical troubleshooting
5. Knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic power systems
6. Independent mindset with preventative maintenance planning skills
7. High School Diploma
