Job summary

Advanced Conversion Technology, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform diversified maintenance on our facility infrastructure, integrating predictive and preventive maintenance to support manufacturing goals.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in manufacturing maintenance, HVAC EPA 608 certification, ability to read blueprints, and a proactive approach to safety and quality. This full-time, onsite role offers ESOP ownership and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 5 years' maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment strongly preferred.
• HVAC certified EPA section 608.
• OSHA/NFPA standards awareness for manufacturing environments.
• Ability to read measurements and blueprints. Strong math skills.
• Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Electrical knowledge a plus; experience with electrical, plumbing and carpentry duties.
• Knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance procedures preferred.
• Experience with computerized maintenance software and MS Outlook.
• Self-directed team player focused on continual quality improvement of facility infrastructure.
• Professional demeanor and confidentiality as required.

Responsibilities

Job Summary

ACT is seeking a Maintenance Technician focused on safely performing highly diversified maintenance duties within the facility infrastructure according to predictive and preventative maintenance systems and processes to support the achievement of the facility's business goals and objectives.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 5 years' maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment strongly preferred
• HVAC certified EPA section 608
• Basic awareness and understanding of OSHA/NFPA standards and guidelines for a manufacturing work environment
• Ability to read measurements and blueprints. Strong math skills.
• Ability to use all hand and power tools and equipment required by position safely and effectively
• Basic machinist and fabrication skills. Electrical knowledge a plus.
• Demonstrated experience to perform electrical, plumbing and carpentry duties
• Knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance procedures preferred
• Ability to effectively utilize computerized maintenance software and MS Outlook
• Self-directed motivated team player dedicated to continual quality improvement of facility infrastructure
• Demonstrates and maintains a professional demeanor in all situations including the ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality as required by the position

Must be able to lift and move objects up to 50 pounds consistently with heavier weight necessary at times. Regularly works near moving mechanical parts. Frequently works in high, precarious places and is frequently exposed to extreme heat and risk of electrical shock. Occasionally works in outside weather conditions and is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, extreme cold, and vibration.
