Advanced Conversion Inc. is seeking mechanically minded individuals for our Metal Shop in Middletown, PA to become part of a Metal Fabricator/Finisher role. Previous experience is a plus, but we will train motivated learners to work to drawings and tolerances, including soldering and finishing tasks.

Work hours are 7:00am-3:30pm, Monday through Friday. We prioritize safety, quality and growth, offering ESOP benefits and strong training to help you advance in the shop.

Formación

Job Summary

ACT is searching for mechanically minded individuals to join our Metal Shop team in aMetal Fabricator/Finisher position. While previous experience is a plus, we will train someone who is interested in learning this trade.

This position will follow quality requirements and safety procedures to fabricate components per drawing dimensions and tolerance specifications as well as solder components and assemblies. The position will also finish machined and fabricated components and apply final finishes to components per print and drawing specifications.

Hours are 7:00am-3:30pm, Monday through Friday.

Must Have Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, decimals and fractions
• Mechanical aptitude
• Good computer skills, including the ability to accurately enter, transact and retrieve simple data

Must be able to lift and move objects up to 10 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds on occasion. Must be able to stand/walk for extended periods of time. Must be comfortable working with and around chemicals and odors.
