Job summary

PROMAN Staffing USA is partnering with a well-known manufacturer in Mentor, OH to hire an experienced Maintenance Technician. This is a DIRECT HIRE position with competitive pay and shift options.

The ideal candidate will troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems, perform preventative maintenance, and collaborate with manufacturing and engineering teams to improve equipment reliability.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Technical or Trade School certification preferred.
• 3+ years industrial maintenance experience in manufacturing (food/beverage/chemical preferred).
• Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude with ability to read schematics, blueprints, and manuals.
• Hands-on experience with VFDs, PLCs, sensors, pumps, conveyors, and robotic systems.
• Working knowledge of preventive maintenance programs and CMMS software.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues on production equipment.
• Conduct inspections to catch wear, leaks, or potential failures before they impact production.
• Support changeovers, adjustments, and calibrations as a hands-on Maintenance Technician.
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams on equipment reliability; assist with installation and commissioning of new equipment.

We are now hiring experienced Maintenance Technicians who are team players, versatile, and dependable. This role is a DIRECT HIRE.

Maintenance Technician Job Summary

• Pay rate: up to $36/hr
• 2nd shift: Tue-Fri or Mon-Thu, 2:30 PM-10:30 PM (+$2.00/hr)
• 3rd shift: Mon-Fri, 10:30 PM-6:30 AM (+$1.50/hr)
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues on production equipment
• Conduct inspections to catch wear, leaks, or potential failures before they impact production, and support changeovers, adjustments, and calibrations as a hands-on Maintenance Technician
