Role Description

The Maintenance Technician is a full-time, on-site role based in McKinney, TX. This role is responsible for inspecting, maintaining, and repairing industrial equipment and systems to support reliable process control operations. Day-to-day tasks include performing routine and preventive maintenance, diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues, troubleshooting equipment failures, and coordinating repairs to minimize downtime. The Maintenance Technician will collaborate with engineering and operations teams to ensure equipment performance aligns with process control requirements and safety standards. The role also involves updating maintenance records, following standard operating procedures, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives in the facility.

Qualifications
  • Strong equipment maintenance and industrial maintenance skills, including hands-on experience with manufacturing or process equipment.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting and diagnosing mechanical, electrical, and control-related issues.
  • Experience performing preventive maintenance and maintenance & repair activities on industrial systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documentation such as schematics, manuals, and equipment specifications.
  • Working knowledge of PLC-controlled equipment and basic understanding of process control systems is highly beneficial.
  • Commitment to safety practices and regulatory compliance in an industrial environment.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certificate or associate degree in industrial maintenance, mechanics, or a related field preferred.
  • Previous experience in manufacturing, food processing, power, metals, or similar industrial sectors is a plus.
