Job summary

Judge Consulting Group in McHenry, Mississippi seeks a Maintenance Technician to diagnose, repair, rebuild, or replace mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems on plant equipment.

You will work as part of a team to perform preventive maintenance, respond to breakdowns, read technical drawings, and follow safety rules. High school diploma required; robotics/mechatronics training preferred; U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain a security clearance may be needed.

Job description

• This position will perform a variety of maintenance tasks including diagnosing, repairing, rebuilding, or replacing mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems on plant equipment.
• Technicians work as part of a team to safely perform preventive maintenance activities as well as answer break down calls in a production environment.
• Maintenance Technician positions are multi-craft and training is provided to develop these skills.
• Follow manufacturers' manuals to determine test and maintenance procedures.
• Candidates must follow all safety rules, work hour regulations, and keep work areas in a clean and safe condition.
• Compliance with quality and safety management requirements.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• 1+ Year experience in successfully troubleshooting and repairing industrial machinery.
• Must be a U.S. citizen and be eligible to apply for and maintain a U.S. security clearance.
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or degree in robotics or mechatronics preferred.
• Experience with maintenance and repair of robotic and automation systems.
• Proficient in reading technical documents and schematics.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Physical ability to lift heavy objects and work in various conditions.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including emergency call-ins.
