Job summary

Horizon Group USA, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician for our McDonough, GA facility. This full-time role will maintain building systems, equipment, and grounds to ensure a safe and efficient operation.

You will report to the Facility Engineer and handle preventive and corrective maintenance, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and low-voltage work, with a focus on reliability and safety.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a facilities/maintenance role, particularly in a warehouse/distribution center.
• Experience diagnosing and documenting equipment breakdowns, resolving issues and repairs.
• Demonstrated knowledge of Electrical, Plumbing, HVAC, and other building systems.
• Experience carrying out electrical or mechanical maintenance including predictive and preventive maintenance.
• Must read and understand mechanical schematics and blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Perform regulatory compliance in the facility such as fire system testing, inspection, and escalation.
• Maintain conveyors, motors, dock plates, etc.
• Troubleshoot, resolve, and implement low voltage systems.
• Execute special projects in the facility as needed.

Maintenance Technician

FULL-TIME Warehouse McDonough, GA, US

Salary Range: $25.00 To $30.00 Hourly

The Opportunity:

As the Warehouse Maintenance Technician, you will report to the Facility Engineer and will be responsible for the maintenance and repairs to the building, equipment, and grounds while establishing a safe environment for the facility.

Responsibilities:

• Perform regulatory compliance in the facility such as fire system testing, inspection, and escalation
• Perform maintenance on conveyor, motors, dock plates, etc.
• Troubleshoot, resolve, and implement low voltage systems
• Execute special projects in the facility as needed

What You’ll Bring:

• 5+ years in a facilities/maintenance type role (particularly in a warehouse/distribution center).
• Experience diagnosing and documenting equipment breakdowns, resolving issues and handling repairs.
• Demonstrated knowledge of systems and components of Electrical, Plumbing, HVAC, and other building support systems.
• Experience carrying out electrical or mechanical maintenance to include predictive and preventive planned maintenance.
• Must be able to read and understand mechanical schematics and blueprints.
• Demonstrated knowledge in the use and handling of hand and power tools.
• A strong foundation of problem-solving skills and written and verbal communication skills.
