Job summary

Legend Senior Living is seeking a Maintenance Technician to care for the living environment of residents. You will maintain and repair equipment, systems, structures, and grounds to ensure safety and aesthetics across the residence.

Responsibilities include completing work orders, coordinating with the Maintenance Director, and communicating with residents and staff while adhering to safety guidelines. Evening/weekend work may be required as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in electrical, HVAC and repairs/maintenance.
• Ability to operate a motor vehicle as part of service and delivery requirements.

Responsibilities

• Regularly walking throughout the residence and grounds to check equipment, maintain appearance, and ensure safety.
• Completing and documenting work orders as assigned by the Maintenance Director, including maintenance and repairs for the building, grounds and equipment.
• Following troubleshooting, reporting to the Maintenance Director any parts or supplies needed to complete repairs.
• Assisting the Director with completion and documentation of inventory, preventative maintenance, warranties, inspections, and overseeing work performed by outside vendors.
• Communicating effectively with residents and staff.
• Adhering to company policies, procedures and safety guidelines.

We are looking for outstanding individuals to join the maintenance team as a Maintenance Technician. This position functions to maintain and repair the equipment, operating systems, structure and grounds of the residence.

Requirements

• Required: Previous experience in a related trade or position, preferably with expertise in electrical, HVAC and repairs and/or maintenance
• Required: Ability to operate a motor vehicle as part of service and delivery requirements, as required
