The Maintenance Technician will install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production equipment and facility systems in a manufacturing environment. This position is responsible for minimizing downtime through preventative maintenance, emergency repairs, and continuous equipment improvements while maintaining a safe work environment.
Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production machinery and facility equipment.
Perform preventative maintenance on mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems to maximize equipment reliability and efficiency.
Respond to equipment breakdowns and perform emergency repairs to minimize production downtime.
Diagnose and repair mechanical drives, conveyors, belts, chains, sprockets, bearings, motors, motor controls, hydraulics, and pneumatic systems.
Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, sketches, equipment manuals, and technical drawings.
Inspect equipment daily and identify worn or damaged components before failures occur.
Maintain repair parts inventory and communicate anticipated maintenance needs.
Perform welding and fabrication repairs as needed while following all welding safety procedures.
Assist with facility maintenance, including building systems and general upkeep.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
Follow all company safety policies, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), welding permits, and OSHA safety standards.
Communicate equipment issues and repair status with production and management teams.
Perform other duties as assigned.
High school diploma or GED required.
3-5 years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
Minimum of 2 years of facilities maintenance experience.
Specialized training in industrial maintenance and welding preferred.
Strong knowledge of:
Mechanical systems
Hydraulics
Pneumatics
AC & DC motors and motor controls
Conveyors and drive systems
Preventative maintenance practices
Ability to read blueprints, diagrams, and technical manuals.
Thorough knowledge of welding procedures and safety practices.
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Strong attendance and reliability.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Willingness to work overtime as needed to support production.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces.
Frequently lift and move up to 50 pounds.
Work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to heat, noise, dust, and moving equipment.

Pay Details: $20.00 to $28.00 per hour
