Job summary

Qualifications

• Solid troubleshooting skills to identify root causes of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
• Experience in manufacturing or industrial environments, preferably in metal casting or heavy industry.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and work orders.
• Knowledge of safety standards and willingness to follow all plant safety and environmental procedures.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently or in a team.
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in maintenance, mechanics, or related field is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and corrective maintenance on foundry equipment, machinery, and systems to minimize downtime and ensure safe operation.
• Inspect equipment, diagnose mechanical and electrical issues, complete repairs, and document work performed.
• Carry out preventive maintenance schedules and respond to equipment failures.
• Coordinate with production staff to prioritize work and minimize production impact.

Role Description

The Maintenance Technician is a full-time, on-site role based at the Manitowoc, WI facility. This role is responsible for performing routine and corrective maintenance on foundry equipment, machinery, and systems to minimize downtime and ensure safe operation.
