Job summary

Manitowoc Ice, a Division of Pentair, is hiring a 3rd Shift Maintenance Technician in Manitowoc, WI to support manufacturing operations through proactive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of mechanical, electrical, and automated systems. The role requires 2–5 years of manufacturing experience and the ability to work independently.

You will execute preventive maintenance, diagnose robotic/CNC/vision systems, and assist with fixtures, tooling, and building systems.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Functional knowledge of electrical systems, PLCs, and industrial automation.
• Experience with robotic systems and safety protocols.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical schematics.
• Familiarity with CMMS systems and basic computer literacy.
• Basic welding, machining, and fabrication skills.
• Ability to perform physical labor in varied environments.
• Must be able to bend, kneel, crawl, and work in confined spaces.
• Comfortable working at heights and lifting up to 50 lbs.

Maintenance Technician 3rd shift

We have an opportunity for a 3rd Shift Maintenance Technician to join our Manitowoc, WI team. You will be responsible for supporting manufacturing operations through proactive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of mechanical, electrical, and automated systems. This role requires minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment and the ability to work independently. The technician plays a key role in minimizing downtime and ensuring proper operation of plant and equipment.

You will:

• Execute preventive and predictive maintenance on production equipment.

• Fabricate and repair custom fixtures and tooling to support production.
• Maintain building systems including HVAC, lighting, boilers and compressed air.
• Respond to facilities maintenance requests from office and non-manufacturing areas.

Key Qualifications:

• 2-5 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Functional knowledge of electrical systems, PLCs, and industrial automation.
• Experience with robotic systems and safety protocols.

• Familiarity with CMMS systems and basic computer literacy.

• Must be able to bend, kneel, crawl, and work in confined spaces.

Shift/Hours:

• 3rd shift: 10pm-6am Monday - Friday
• 2hrs regular OT, more available (after shift or on weekends)

Compensation:

• The hourly pay for this role is: $42.00 to $45.00/hr. plus $1/hr. shift premium. Actual pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, and experience.
