Job summary

Kito Crosby Limited in Pennsylvania is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our Maintenance department. This entry-level, non-exempt role focuses on preventative and corrective maintenance of production machinery across Manheim and Elizabethtown facilities.

You will perform routine PM tasks, troubleshoot issues, maintain maintenance records using PM software, install equipment, and collaborate with vendors to complete tasks effectively.

• Demonstrated experience as a maintenance technician.
• Basic understanding of electrical, pneumatic, and other systems.
• Strong understanding of general maintenance processes and methods.
• Experience operating equipment such as snow blowers, powered tools, and floor scrubbers.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
• Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to maintain positive vendor and client relationships.

JOB TITLE:MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN

REPORTS TO:Production Engineering Manager

DEPARTMENT: Maintenance

BASIC FUNCTION:

Entry level Maintenance Technician is responsible for preventative and corrective maintenance of all production machinery and equipment in Manheim and Elizabethtown facilities.

GENERAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform all routine preventative maintenance to production & facility equipment at both facilities.
• Troubleshoot and perform required repairs to production & facility equipment at both facilities.
• Manage PM Coordinator maintenance software to maintain proper records of maintenance program.
• Installation of new and existing equipment
• Work with outside vendors and service providers to accomplish required tasks.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience in operating a variety of equipment, including snow blowers, powered tools, and floor scrubbers

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Occasional bending, squatting, and lifting.

• Demonstrate a positive attitude.
• Build business relationships primarily around good, solid, and courteous service, followed by individual rapport. Avoid excuses or negative explanations.
