Job summary

Lufkin/Angelina County Chamber of Commerce seeks a Maintenance Technician to provide hands-on maintenance and repair support across all grocery store locations.

The role covers carpentry, floor coverings, mechanical repairs and preventative maintenance. A High School Diploma or GED is required. Must be able to lift up to 100 pounds; forklift operation experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; general maintenance knowledge across mechanical and electrical areas.
• HVAC experience is a plus.

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for providing hands‑on maintenance and repair support across all grocery store locations.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES –

• Repair of small equipment used by retail location

Responsible for general maintenance including carpentry, floor coverings and mechanical repairs.

Preventative maintenance tasks as assigned for store locations.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE – High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) and general knowledge of all aspects of maintenance both mechanical and electrical as well as small equipment repair. HVAC exo is a PLUS!
