Job summary

Friendly Gus's corporate office is seeking an experienced maintenance technician to join our team. Qualified applicants will perform preventative maintenance and repairs for our convenience stores and equipment across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry.

We welcome a candidate who is a self-starter, willing to learn, and a team player. This is a full-time role with benefits including health insurance, paid time off, vision insurance and a 401(k) with matching.

Qualifications

• Prior maintenance experience preferred but not required.
• HVAC certification preferred.
• Demonstrated effective training, coaching and willingness to learn.
• Self-starter with a desire to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on stores and equipment.
• Repair and troubleshoot building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing).

Physical Requirements

Maintenance technician requires constant standing, bending and reaching. Frequent lifting of one to five pounds and occasional lifting of up to 40-50 pounds is required.
