Job summary

Envolve Community Management, LLC is seeking a Maintenance Technician to work at Hillcrest Manor Senior Apartment Community in Lubbock, TX. The role involves general maintenance and repairs and applying specialized skills in HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems, while assisting the Maintenance Supervisor to keep the property in top condition.

Ideal candidates have HVAC certification with 3+ years of experience, the ability to move heavy equipment, and availability for emergency maintenance

Qualifications

• HVAC certification with 3+ years of maintenance experience.
• Must be able to move heavy equipment safely, using proper equipment.
• Available for emergency maintenance calls 24/7.
• Occasional overtime is required.
• Reliable transportation is a must.
• Background screening and drug test required.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance and repairs on apartment systems.
• Repair appliances, water heaters, electrical fixtures, plumbing fixtures.
• Perform preventive maintenance as needed.
• Complete work orders and proper documentation of maintenance operations.
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist the Maintenance Supervisor.

Envolve Community Management, LLC owns and professionally manages apartment communities located in select markets throughout the southeastern United States.

Currently, Envolve is searching for a Maintenance Technician to work at Hillcrest Manor Senior Apartment Community in Lubbock, TX.

The Maintenance Technician will perform general maintenance and repairs and apply specialized skills in areas such as HVAC, plumbing and electrical as well as assist the Maintenance Supervisor.

Responsibilities:

• Must possess the ability and tools to repair apartment appliances, water heaters, electrical fixtures, bulbs, commodes, sinks, basic carpentry and any general maintenance repairs that may arise.
• Knowledge to perform preventive maintenance duties as needed.
• Complete work orders and forms to assure all documentation regarding operations of maintenance equipment is completed properly.
• A commitment to exceptional customer service is critical.
• Pick up grounds as instructed.
• Assist the maintenance supervisor.

Qualifications

• Ideal candidate has HVAC certification with (3) plus years of Maintenance Technician experience.
• Must be able to move heavy equipment safely, using proper equipment.
• This candidate must be available for emergency maintenance calls 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
• Occasional overtime required.
• Reliable transportation a must.
• Background screening and drug test required.
